Our Conclusions
Group Conclusion
Technology is a positive medium to integrate into classroom environments. Its success depends on how it is implemented appropriately as well as the teacher’s knowledge/training on the subject. The constant technological advances facilitate the need for IEPS and allows us to achieve success in accordance to the AODA. We’ve come to the conclusion, that it enhances student learning however, it can only have the opportunity to enhance this learning if these following considerations are met;
- effective research has been done on ICT options
- mandated professional training and development
- an environment of collaborative inquiry
Once these procedures are followed, technology has the potential to enhance individualized student learning, provide mediums for students with disabilities and students who are foreign language learners, create a more flexible classroom environment and produce lifelong learners.
